Thundersport Three show their support to local event
Jodie Chalk, Glenrothes – Michael Robertson, Danderhall and Paul Wishart, Perth all attended the Levenmouth Police Station open day to show their support for the ‘Safe Drive stay Alive’ campaign. Pictured with members of Fife Constabulary, all three riders were keen to show young up and coming riders the safe way to ride a motorbike, whether it is on the road or on the track.
Jodie, Michael and Paul all had their bikes and riding gear available for everyone to see and were happy to talk to all of people that came to see them. Brian from Kirkcaldy Kawasaki also attended to show the right clothing that should be worn when riding on the road along with a new style Kawasaki motorcycle.
The reaction to the riders was amazing; over 200 people had their pictures taken with the riders and their bikes.
Jodie, Michael and Paul all enjoyed showing their support alongside organisations such as members of Fife Fire and Rescue Service, The Army, a bouncy castle and many others. The day’s event was a great success for Levenmouth Police Station and all the riders look forward to their next event.
Each of the riders will be attending their next race this weekend at Pembery, racing in the Thundersport GB championship. Jodie and Paul are both competing in the 600cc Superstock Championships and Michael will be taking part in the 1000cc Championship.
If you would like to follow any of the riders and their careers, you can find all of their racing pages on Facebook. They also look forward to seeing all of their home fans at their next race at East Fortune in September.

| Jodie Chalk was back racing on home ground at the weekend. She was showing why she can call herself ‘The Fastest Female on two wheels in Scotland’. Taking part in the Melville Racing Club 40th Anniversary event at East Fortune, Jodie gave it her all.“I am always happy to be back racing at East Fortune. After me success here back in April, I was really excited to get back on the track and show what I could do in front of home crowd”
“I was racing on the new bike. At first it didn’t feel right on the track which only allowed me a 12th place qualifying position. Garfield (dad) and I made a few alterations and when I went out for qualifying it was running really well. I am really pleased with the way that the weekend went managing to finish in the top 7 in all my races, even getting two 5th place finishes and I am now looking forward to going down to Snetterton this weekend for the Race of Aces.” Having gained her first top ten finish at Mallory Park in June, Jodie now wants to continue moving her way up to a podium finish. All of Jodie’s races can be seen on Motors TV and on her website www.jodiechalk.com. Jodie’s next race is this weekend at Snetterton and then next weekend at Knockhill. |
